Where the teacher's welfare do matter
Work life balance is crucial to quality welfare
“Have day to day and periodic conversations with the staff by their reporting officer and the people from the management get us by, so to speak. They get to hear our needs and struggles and we all meet halfway” (survey)
The principal reinforced quality welfare is one that “is looking after the teacher’s needs but at the same time looking at where their interest lies.”
It is important to understand each teacher and cater to their needs. In order to understand the staffs' concerns and views, two-way communication may be the most effective platform to reach out to the staff.
